This is our second coffee from Colombian farm called Finca Costa Rica, and this time it's a delicious, modestly priced geisha, bursting with white grape, ripe peach and grapefruit. The first roast of this coffee went to our so there's only a little left — snag a bag while you can!
Finca Costa Rica is a family-run farm owned by Faver Ninco. Sitting at 2,005 meters, the 10-hectare farm cultivates 19,900 coffee trees, including caturra, cink bourbon, geisha, papayo, and java. With over 25 years of experience, Faver and his four children are deeply involved in coffee production, each contributing to the farm's growth and sustainability.
Only ripe cherries were collected, sorted by density, de-pulped and submerged in little water for 24 hours. The coffee was washed twice and dried under shaded canopies for 18-25 days.
