Collaboration

What began 29 years ago as a modest 0.5-hectare plot of coffee trees has flourished under the care of Feli (Felisinda) and her husband Pepe into a thriving 4-hectare coffee farm. Their daughter Flor essentially grew up in the fields and started cultivating her own coffee trees at a young age. Following in her parents’ footsteps, she now owns nearly as much land as her parents. Recently, she planted approximately 6,000 Geisha variety plants and we cannot wait to try it.

Flor and Feli’s farms are about a half-hour walk apart, and they assist each other whenever needed. The rock-solid micro-lot they have produced together is a proof of their loving and harmonious collaboration.

Sweet notes of caster sugar identifies this coffee most, with the right amount of wild peach and some plum coming through. It’s a classic washed, yet complex Peru, and we’re excited to use this coffee for the Dutch AeroPress Championship 2024!
